Martis Search are representing a City of London based boutique Banking organisation to a hire a permanent “Real Estate Analyst/ Associate.”

This excellent Front Office Real Estate opportunity works within the Bank’s Front Office Real Estate Business Development team, reporting into a senior Director.

This is a broad “Real Estate Analyst/ Associate” level role which requires someone of graduate calibre (ideally in a numerate and Mathematical type Degree) with 1-3 years’ relevant working experience in Real Estate.

The role involves helping the Directors win new business, maintaining relationships with existing clients, as well as analytical “Financial Modelling” of potential new Real Estate portfolios.

In addition, there will also be necessary administrative type tasks such as new Client Onboarding processes, Credit applications etc.

It is a really friendly bank to work for, with small teams and they offer hybrid working too.

Job Specification

  • Structuring and execution of large commercial real estate financing transactions (investment and development facilities) covering offices, retail, logistics, and residential (BTR, PBSA).
  • Supporting Directors and Associate Directors in securing new business, attending meetings with clients (existing and potential)
  • Assist with the preparation of Term Sheets
  • Assist with the preparation of credit applications for Board presentation in close co-operation with Directors and Credit Risk Management, including quantitative and qualitative analysis of Real Estate risk, use of internal Rating model, cash flow, cash flow forecasts, pricing tool.
  • Assist with the customer on-boarding and facility closing process, and review of insurance reports, valuation reports, mechanical & engineering reports, environmental surveys, measurement surveys, project management and other reports if deemed necessary.
  • Ensure bank’s relevant IT systems are accurate and kept up-to-date

Required Qualifications:

  • Financial, Business or Mathematical background
  • Experience of KYC
  • Awareness of ESG requirements in real estate.
  • Maximum 2- 3 years relevant experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Salary

Between £50 k pa – £65 k pa, dependent upon experience, plus annual discretionary, pension, healthcare etc.
