Finance & Accounting – Boutique Asset Manager – Urgent Temporary-to-Permanent (Ideally between 1-2-years Finance & Accounting experience in Financial Services)

Martis Search is representing a London-based boutique Asset Management firm that is looking to urgently hire a temporary-to-permanent 2:1 + numerate Redbrick/ Russell Group calibre graduate with 1-2 years Finance & Accounting experience gained within a Financial Services organisation and to join to join their London based Finance department.

Our client will also look at someone who is either a Part-Qualified Accountant (i.e. ACCA, or CIMA), or has the desire to become qualified. This is a definite temp-to-permanent role and once switching to permanent, our client will offer study support.

Our client is looking for a Redbrick/ Russell Group graduate with a strong numerate background who is keen to build a long-term career in Finance and Accounting within Financial Services, working for a fast-paced trading/ investment environment.

This is not a stepping stone to be get into the Front Office. Our client requires someone who is looking to pursue their career in Finance and Accounting and wanting to be an Accountant as a career.

Please note: candidates must be able to start quickly (so no long notice periods).

Working Pattern

• 5-days per week in the office initially
• After 3–6 months, the role may offer 1-day per week working from home

Technical Skills

• An aptitude for coding is highly advantageous (e.g. VBA, Python, SQL)
• Or a clear willingness and ability to self-learn technical skills on the job

Salary

• Daily-rate equivalent of between £40,000 k pa – £50,000 k pa, dependent upon experience.
