Martis Search is representing a boutique Asset Management division of a global Banking group, to hire a permanent entry-level graduate role within their Asset Management Operations/ Fund Administration department.
This is an entry-level into “2024/ 2025 Graduate level” Operations role. This is an excellent opportunity for a bright graduate to get your first proper job in The City, into the world of Financial Services, specifically Investment Operations.
The role involves supporting their Client Services Directors for a range of Operational/ Client Services type tasks including preparing Marketing presentations, RFP’s, Client Reporting, working with Funds Performance Data etc.
The role also gives exposure to Fund Manager, the Compliance department, so is a great place to learn and gain in knowledge.
The company is based in The City of London and the Asset Manager has global locations.
The role is also hybrid (within a 4-week period, 8 days employees are allowed to work from home, so you will be able to work-from, as well as in the office).

What you will be doing:
A member of Investment Management Department (IMD) assisting with client services tasks and administrative works including client-specific accounts and UCITS funds.
Tasks of the role:
To work as an IMD staff member and an assistant to Directors of the Client Services Team and
conduct mainly the following tasks.
Client Services & Account Management
a) Maintaining communication with clients under the supervision of the Director.
b) Monitoring and checking client portfolios based on investment guidelines and internal rules.
c) Periodic Client Reporting: To support the Directors in the following; creation review and distribution
of various client reports such as monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
d) Executing general routine tasks related to client services and administration for existing clients
including fee calculation and invoice creation/invoicing and for potential clients as necessary.
e) Preparing and reviewing marketing materials and documents including; fact sheets, presentation
materials, RFPs, performance data, portfolio holdings information.
Fund Administration
f) Handling UCITS fund related operational tasks including routine expense checks and
communication with custodians, administrators, management companies and other relevant
professional counterparties.
g) Maintaining and controlling all UCITS fund related documents and registration at any jurisdiction.
h) Executing general routine tasks including fee estimation, invoice creation, regular report creation.
Maintaining and facilitating on-going relationships with sub-distributors, including oversight of fee
split procedure, the organisation of on-going due diligence and marketing oversight.
j) Assist Directors and other IMD team members for ad-hoc UCITS fund tasks including changes in
fund prospectus and legal documents.
Data / Document Management
k) Maintaining data related to products, existing clients/prospective clients.
l) Maintaining company website and updating necessary information and document on it.
General
m) Completing the Internal Application process, responsible for the creation of all IMD related internal
applications, expenses etc
n) Preparing drafts and reviewing drafts prepared by other IMD team members of any kind of
reports/memos in relation to the IMD activities under Director’s instruction.
o) Communicating and cooperating with Head Office and supporting the Directors in dealing with the
activities related to IMD.
p) Liaising with Manager Compliance on IMD Compliance matters and ensuring team’s adherence to
AML due diligence and Compliance Manual requirements.
q) General Administrative Duties –Supporting other IMD team members to handle ad-hoc
administrative duties within the department.
r) Liaising with Accounting team on making/receiving payment related to IMD business.
s) Undertaking operational matters on term deposits and FX management activities under the
supervision of the Deputy Managing Director.
t) Carrying out other ad-hoc tasks as requested by the Managing Director and Head of Department.
3. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Educated to at least BA or BSc level or equivalent. English as native language.
Salary
Up to £30,000 p/a + overtime at x 1.5 hourly rate plus annual discretionary bonus, pension, healthcare etc.
