Futures & Options/ ETD Operations “System Administration Support” Analyst (Must have a minimum of 1-years + Futures/ ETD Operations experience)

Martis Search is representing a City of London based global Trading company to hire a permanent “Futures & Options/ ETD Operations System Administration Support Analyst.”

The specific role sits within a Futures & Options Operations department, and the job title is for an “ION XTP Systems Administrator.”

The role sits in their London office, but within a global Operations team and reports into a senior Futures/ ETD Operations Manager.

Our client is looking for someone with a minimum of 1-year’s (or more) Futures & Options Operations experience gained within a reputable Brokerage, or Investment Bank (happy to look at all experience levels above 1-year).

“ION XTP” is the company’s Futures & Options “Back Office” system that support Futures & Options trading for global markets.

The team support all relevant changes, upgrades within “ION XTP.” This means that the team face off externally both to “ION XTP”, but also to all Operations, Finance & Accounting, Compliance and Risk Management teams based in London, but also all international locations that use “ION XTP.” This means that there is such a great opportunity to learn more with Futures & Options Operations, but also to get a wider exposure to a large selection of different “support function” teams – widening your knowledge.

Having good Excel and/ or SQL is a nice to have. Any working knowledge of ideally “ION XTP”, or even “GMI” Futures & Options “Back Office” Operations systems is highly advantageous.

Due to the huge growth in the business, there is a lot of genuine promotion opportunities at the Bank within Operations to become a future “Operations Manager”, or other Operations departments. There are new teams growing all the time as the business expands, so it is an excellent career opportunity.

The role will be x 4 days per week in their London office and x 1-day working-from-home.

Salary

Between £50 k pa – £65 k pa dependent upon experience, plus an annual discretionary bonus, pension, healthcare and much more.
