Hedge Fund/ Asset Management Trade Support – Fixed Income & Credit focus

Martis Search are representing a boutique City of London based Asset Management company that also supports Alternative Investment strategies to hire a permanent “Hedge Fund/ Asset Management Trade Support Analyst.”

The company boasts a truly entrepreneurial spirit. It is dynamic and forward-thinking, constantly launching new businesses, new funds, new global geographical locations; but still maintains the vibe of an “investment boutique.”

The role supports existing company Funds, as well as newer UCTIS Fund launches from both this year, as well as to support up-coming 2024 Fund launches.

Our client is in need of someone, ideally from an Institutional Asset Management, or Hedge Fund Trade Support background who has a sound knowledge of Fixed Income and Credit Derivatives related Buyside Trade Support covering Middle Office (i.e. Trade Capture and Trade Confirmation, Settlements), as well as Fund Administration (i.e. NAV’s/ Valuations) across TRS, CDS, Swaps, NDF, FRA’s & Convertible Bond Options asset-classes.

Due to the size of the company, you will need to be a self-starter, to doing both BAU Middle Office and related “Project Management” work and have support of both their Head of Operations and wider Operations team in London.

Our client will also potentially look at “sellside” experience, but only if they could demonstrate being able to fit into a smaller Asset Management type set-up.

Our client is looking for a 2:1 graduate calibre (in a numerate subject such as Mathematics, Economics, Engineering etc) with between x 1-5-year’s level relevant Trade Support experience. Having the IMC is highly desirable, but not essential, as well as having strong Excel skills, or VBA, Python, SQL, or JAVA coding experience.

In-our-opinion, this is a really good and interesting company, with a great Head of Operations and supporting an exciting Fund Management business.

Salary

£50 k pa – £60 k pa plus good bonus, pension, healthcare etc.
