“Senior Relationship Manager” – Commodity Futures Clearing clients (Power, Gas & Carbon Futures & Options)

Martis Search is representing a City of London based global Investment Bank to hire an experienced “Senior Relationship Manager” to support their premium Commodity Futures & Options Clearing institutional clients across Power, Gas & Carbon Futures (ETD’s).

This is a fantastic opportunity Front Office Commodity Futures & Options Relationship Management position to support our client’s premium institutional clients that requires various specialist Futures Clearing services.

This is a very important role to the company and requires someone with a minimum of 5-years Commodity Power, Gas & Carbon Futures experience as a “Relationship Manager” gained at a reputable Investment Bank, Brokerage, or Futures Clearing house.

This high-level and dynamic position requires you to be the “1st point of contact” with the client, supporting their every need, maintaining the business relationship and ensuring every client need is met to their exact requirement.

This involves having exemplary Commodity Futures Clearing product and market knowledge, being organised and knowledgeable about all aspects of the client’s requirements and the company’s product and service offerings.

Our client needs someone who is an excellent communicator, so being able to build a strong and long-term working relationship with multiple clients (in order to maintain and growing revenues). This will involve regular phone calls, Teams meetings, business travel (around Europe and Asia), lunch meetings – whatever it takes to offer the very best in service.

This is not a direct Sales role, but our client is also looking for someone who has the gravitas and guile to be able to probe clients with the right questioning and rapport building over time, using extensive and cutting-edge market knowledge (gained from your experience in the markets) to be able to potentially up-sell other services to the client’s that the company could offer.

You will be working in an excellent global team (based in London, but our client has a global presence with teams in foreign locations too) that supports each-other, shares information and works collectively to hit corporate targets and goals.

Salary

Between £125 k pa – £140 k pa dependent upon experience, plus a very good annual discretionary bonus, pension, healthcare etc.
